there’d be no distance that could hold us back
So, as promised, I present to you the best of the photos taken in Georgia.

3/10/05 – Huddle House of Cartersville. It’s most grand, as far as Huddle Houses go.

3/11/05 – Here at Redtop Mountain State Park, thanks to the trusty camera timer.

3/12/05 – At the Harvest Moon Cafe in Rome. We crammed ourselves into the tiny (and adorable) telephone booth. Our kind waitress took this photo.

3/12/05 – Jessi tickles the ivory at the snowball shop in Rome.
spring was on the mountain..

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! This photo was taken a few years ago, but it will do for the occasion. When we lived in South Greenwood, our backyard would breed four-leaf clover. I still have a box of some that I pressed, if I could find it. Here in Spring Valley, I have not found even one.
Photos from the trip coming soon…

So I’m off for Georgia to visit the very-missed Jessi. It should be a very exciting trip, and I look forward to it with the greatest amount of anticipation that can possibly be contained within the hours before 10 AM.
I was moderating comments before I left, and I just happened to take note that I hadn’t posted in a significantly long time. So I guessed that a few words were in order.
I’ve certainly enjoyed the first half of Spring Break. It was spent somewhat productively, although I certainly had time to enjoy my vacation at home. I even tidied up a bit. I was very fortunate in that I didn’t really have a lot of homework over the break. A couple of short stories to read for English, a program to write for 230. Of course, nothing to do in Google class; I think those ER diagrams are supposed to be keeping me busy all week. The only thing I’ve got left is Spanish, and of course, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t put that off until Sunday night.
So for now, without a bit of regret, I am throwing all responsibilities away, I am running off into the blue yonder (aka, Fairmount), and I shall return on Sunday, hopefully with a few decent photos to show you all.
